Site Not Resolving This Morning? Been with us a while?
Posted by DrakNet @ 10:58 am on March 4, 2010Go change your nameservers!
This morning, 3 years after we sent out emails to let folks know we would be retiring the dragonwind.net nameserver pair, we actually took down the nameservers.
Go to http://www.drak.net/whois/
Lookup your domain name. Scroll down to where it says the nameservers. If you see:
Name Server:NS.DRAGONWIND.NET
Name Server:NS2.DRAGONWIND.NET
You’re on the wrong nameservers. Please login to your registrar, look for the link to update your DNS, and change your nameserver pair to:
Name Server:NS.DRAK.NET
Name Server:NS2.DRAK.NET
It’s possible that you didn’t get email notices because you have an old email on file in billing, which means we cannot contact you. After getting your nameservers updated, please login to your billing area and change your email account on file to one that is current. If you don’t have your login and your email on file is no longer valid, you’ll need to contact us about confirming your identity and regaining access to your billing account. (You don’t need to do that to get back up, though – just change the nameservers at your registrar).
